When Vanessa contacted me about providing coordination for her wedding in June I was excited. We hit it off on the phone, and we set up a day to meet at her wedding and reception venue...The Cornery Brewery. A brewery? For a wedding and reception? I was curious...and anxious to see what this was all about!
I met Vanessa, her fiance Derek, and his mom at the Corner Brewery for a site visit and planning/layout session. They planned to get married outside in the Beer Garden, and have the DJ set up for dancing in the lounge (the entire right side of the restaurant). While I must admit, I was a little skeptical at first, I think the Corner Brewery is an amazing and unique Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti Michigan venue.
Beth, the events manager, is a gem, and all the staff at the Corner Brewery are amazing! They were so kind amongst my hundreds of requests, they were so attentive, and always willing to lend a helping hand when needed.
Here are the details if you are looking to use the Corner Brewery for your wedding ceremony and/or reception:
- $500 to rent two-thirds of the Beer Garden (includes the inside lounge as a rain plan) - this also includes the back patio to use for set up of food buffet style, and a private bar.
*This includes the use of picnic tables out back in the Beer Garden, white linens for the picnic tables, tables (both banquet and cocktail) for the lounge, white linens for the cocktail tables, and any extra tables for welcome, gift, & cake/dessert
- $150 to rent the indoor lounge - can fit 55 people with a dance floor or 75 people without one
*This includes the use of tables (both banquet and cocktail) for the lounge, white linens for the cocktail tables, and any extra tables for welcome, gift, & cake/dessert
- They do have an in-house catering menu OR you may bring in caterering from any licensed establishment
*If you use catering from the Corner Brewery they provide plates, silverware, and napkins. If you bring in food from outside you or the caterer must provide that.
- You may bring in cake or dessert from any licensed baker
- You may decorate any way you want as long as it is in line with their fire code. Renter is responsible for set-up and clean-up
- Private bar is $100, that includes a bartender, co2 hook up, drinking glasses, and a reduced price on beer.
