Bikes, Bikes & More Bikes!

We have seen a lot of photographs taken lately with couples on bikes, bridal parties on bikes, and even photographers on bikes!   We love the idea of incorporating bikes into your wedding day, either as a photo opportunity, as transportation, or as decor.  They work well with the popular shabby-chic vintage theme, a more modern and colorful theme, or even a romantic-glam theme...take a look at some of the pictures below as inspiration for your wedding day!

Flower Girls

I didn't have a flower girl in my wedding, but my daughter has been asked to be a flower girl in my sister's wedding and I am SO EXCITED!  There are so many fun & unique ways to make the flower girl stand out and be cute, yet stylish and unique.  Below are some of my favorite details I have seen incorporated into the the attire of the flower girl:

How adorable is this hat?????!

Who says a pillow is just for the ring bearer?

Love the uniqueness of this seersucker flower girl dress along with the matching hair bow!
Love the colored sashes as a touch of color on these cuties!

A flower girl in a tutu?  Yes please!  Love the flower detail and the jewel adorned sandals worn by this girl:

And last, but not least...the flower girl getting ready with the "big girls" - melts my heart <3

Wedding Shoes

When I am perusing through all the amazing wedding pictures on fellow wedding planner & photographer blogs, I am enamored with the flowers, the venue, the colors, the cake, the linens, and all the personal details the couple adds to their day to make it one of a kind...and I always find myself in anticipation of seeing "the shoes"...the wedding shoes.  I love seeing the unique styles and colors that each couple chooses.  Some couples coordinate their wedding shoes...sometimes it's all about the bride :)

I think a brides (and grooms) shoes say a lot about her (him)...what do you think?
