Wendy & Zach

Oh my...where do I begin with these two?  Wendy and Zach came to me a year and a half ago to help them find a venue, and assist with the logistics of planning a wedding (cutting down the guest list, reviewing venue contracts, etc).  After our first couple meetings together they were more like friends and less like clients.  We shared many laughs, and many emails through the process.  There was a point when none of us were sure where or when they were going to get married.  However,  I'm happy to say they DID get married, at a completely amazing venue nonetheless, and were able to invite *almost* everyone on their guest list :)  Thank you to everyone who made their wedding day such a success!!!

Kim & John

I can't believe I haven't blogged in almost TWO months!

Well, there's no better way to get back into it then with an amazing couple who had an amazing wedding day.  We worked with Kim & John for a year and a half helping to design, plan and coordinate their wedding day.  There was a threat of rain all day, but nothing was going to stop this from being an amazing day with family and friends.

The girls got ready at Kim's parents house in Grosse Pointe and after a round of golf, the guys went to the Marriott in the RenCen to get ready.

The bridal party started the day in Detroit where Kim & John had their first look and then took off to do a round of bridal party and family photos.

Kim chose navy, sea foam blue, white, and blush as her colors - a to die for combination!  Parsonage Events did an amazing job with the floral design, and they also provided graphic design for the layout of the menu and escort cards, printing, and decor items such as the ribbon wall behind the cupcake display, the board for the escort cards, and the ribbon decor for the ceremony.

Once they were done in Detroit, they headed to the Grosse Pointe War Memorial for a few more photos and some relaxation time before the ceremony.

This gorgeous cake and cupcake display from Domestic Arts tasted even better than it looked (if that's possible)!

The amazing Jerry Ross Band kept the crowd going all night - they were terrific!
